APE 2009, October 17 & 18th

Hey IITS Readers,

Just dropping a quick note to let you all know that we are confirmed for APE 2009 in San Francisco. APE is a fun, slightly more intimate show where art and comic lovers and creators get together to just talk...well, comics and art! We're excited to be exhibiting there for the first time this year and look forward to promoting our comic to new readers and meeting old friends. More details about the show and where it'll be located are on the official Alternative Press Expo site.

P.S. Do you have a favorite local comic shop that you think would be interested in carrying copies of Islands in the Sky? Shoot me an email and give me their info!

  1. Heh, this isn't regarding APE, but as far as comic book shops, theres only uhh..
Well sadly, there's only one in Fairfield/Suisun city that I know of. It's small but nice, and the people are pretty friendly as far as I can tell. I don't even think the place has a name besides a sign that says COMICS. Anyways, I dunno, but it'd be cool to see IITS being sold there.

  3. It'll be cool to see you at Ape, Hamasuki and I'm really glad you loved the commission. BTW, if you paid to get into Comic-Con, I'm pretty sure you can get into APE for free. =)
